Manchester City’s “poor” season is to me, says Pep Guardiola

The Manchester City Pep Guardiola boss states that his performance as manager this season has been “really poor”.
City, champions of the Premier League in each of the last four seasons, are fifth on the table and 22 points behind the Liverpool leaders with nine remaining games.
Guardiola, who led City to six prime minister league titles since he entered 2016, has never finished a less than third season with any club during his managerial career.
When asked how to evaluate his job as a manager this term, Guardiola, 54 years old, said: “This season? Really poor.
“The opponents never gave us a red carpet to win the titles we won in the past. My duty was to overcome the situation much better than I did (this season).”
He said that the reason why it happened are “some details”, adding: “We hope this will not happen next season. This is important”.
