MLS: The mouse stops playing Vancouver Whitecaps V Austin Game

Vancouver Whitecaps striker Brian White scored four goals in a 5-1 victory over Austin rivals in the MLS on Saturday … just to be staged by the smallest invader in the world.

A surprise apparition of a mouse stole the spotlight at BC Place in Vancouver, with the game stopped while the players and the staff attempted to take it.

He hastened to overcome the line halfway to the seventh minute while Austin was preparing to take a corner, pushing the referee to pause the action.

Austin Brad Stuver goalkeeper eventually assumed the role of control of part-time parasites, using his gloves to collect the miniature intruder before escaping him gently off the pitch.

Stuver received a warm tour of applause from supporters, but spent most of the rest of the game to collect the ball out of its net while the Whitecaps have tightened the grip at the top of the western conference.

There are four free points from Minnesota United and they arrived at the Cup Cup Concacaf Champions semifinals, where they face Lionel’s Inter Miami put on April 30th.
