MotoGP: Marc Marquez wins the main race in Qatar to extend the advantage of the championship

Marc Marquez recovered from a collision with his younger brother Alex Marquez in the opening tour to win the main race in Qatar and extend his advantage to the top of the MotoGP ranking.

The Spanish, 32 years old, arrived in front of Maverick Vinales and Francesco Bagnaia and now has an advantage of 18 points compared to the 28 -year -old brother.

The Ducati driver Marc Marquez had returned to the top of the knights championship by winning the sprint on Saturday and started the pole for the main race of 22 laps on Sunday, but lost the advantage after contact between the two brothers in the first corner.

However, the six -time MotoGP champion has recovered, overcoming Vinales to regain the first place with the remaining seven laps.
