Murphy is ready to continue winning ways with the right brake


The Goulburn Pat Murphy coach will make the journey to Wagga on Sunday hoping to continue his winning form when he sad a couple of unrelated possibilities.

Murphy produced the first appetizer Sparkleglitter to win in Orange on Friday, while he had the roll of victory in seventh place in the Orange Cup.

The former jockey will have the second classified by Canberra for the last time the right in the Kooringal Murrumbidgee Cup Open Heat of the Stayers Series (1800 m) cocchine, while the War Country brothers has entered has enhanced the 58 handicap benchmark showcase (1600m).

“The right won well in Goulburn two departures ago when he represented the victory shot,” said Murphy.

He ran home quite well the other day in Canberra when Billy Owen was on him and the step towards the 1800m should be at his leisure on Sunday. He also designed the internal gate and that he should make sure he gets a good race and is able to end strongly”.

Louise Day will ride that he will find himself in his event, with the backup of the castrone after having arrived fifth behind Ana Carolina in Gundagai last weekend with Owen in the saddle.

“He won only a 14 departure race, but his form has not been so bad in recent times,” said Murphy.

“Just more than four lengths in Wagga was beaten three departures and then a similar margin was beaten when Quinto in Canberra. The race in Gundagai last week was good and was beaten only just over two lengths.”
