Novak Djokovic-Sebastian Korda Match has referred to Miami Open due to the ATP rule to prevent the finishes late

For once in tennis, mental health prevailed.
Following a rule issued last year to prevent late finishes, the organizers of Miami Open posted the match on Wednesday evening between Novak Djokovic and Sebastian Korda following a long day of tennis at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Andrew Krasny, tennis conductor and producer, made the announcement to a crowd annoyed by 13,000 people who had seen the battle of almost two and a half hours between Emma Raducanu and Jessica Pegula. Peguula won in three sets, 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-2.
“In accordance with the ATP rules that do not allow a game to go on the pitch after 23:00, the game between Novak Djokovic and Sebastian Korda has been postponed until tomorrow and will be the third game from 13:00,” said Krasny on the crowd.
The spectators how far and whistled and drowned the second half of his declaration, recalling their attention on a QR code on the giant screens that they could use to buy $ 10 tickets for Thursday session.
The reason for late delay started on Tuesday, when the rain stopped the game for about four hours. This meant that the organizers postpone a night game between Arthur Fils and Alexander Zverev on Wednesday afternoon. But they did not move the start time of 13:00 before, hoping to get three games in less than six hours to keep everything on time.
It didn’t happen. Iga Swiatek lost against Alexandra Eala in consecutive sets, but the Fils-Zverev match went to three sets. So, the next match between Grigor Dimitrov and Francisco Cerundolo needed a third set Tiebreak to decide a winner-dimitrov.
Peguula and Raducanu did not start until about 9:00 pm, which was two hours late. And they have not finished until 23:30
While the night extended, a postponement became inevitable since another three set game would have meant that the players do not get to bed until late-o in advance-5 in the morning the sport has been afflicted by the finishes late in recent years as the game has become more physical and the equipment has allowed players to do points, games and longer games.
The spectators, few of whom would remain for the entire game, made their feelings known, so they directed peacefully towards the exits.
