Paddy Pimblett: What after the victory over Michael Chandler at UFC 314?
Paddy Pimblett has gained the most significant victory of his career with an impressive interruption of the third round of Michael Chandler at UFC 314.
The British Pimblett has passed the American on the feet and the ground for a victory that will move to the top 10 of the light rankings.
UFC commentator Jon Anik welcomed Pimblett “Al élite” after his triumph in Miami, Florida, while the president of the promotion Dana White described the thirty year old as the “true deal”.
Victory has been the seventh of Pimblett since she joined the UFC in 2021 – the second longer series of victories in the light division after the ISLAM Makhachev 15 champion.
Pimblett said in the accumulation of the competition that, if he were to beat Chandler, would have targeted another victory this year before a title shot in 2026.
