Parade of the Carabao Newcastle Cup: route, transport and timetables

Tens of thousands of fans of the Newcastle United should align the streets of the city later to celebrate the historic victory of the club Carabao cup.
The Magpies ensured their first silverware from the inter-city fairs cup in 1969 and the first home trophy of the club for 70 years, beating Liverpool at Wembley two weeks ago.
An open-top bus show will start at St James’ Park at about 16:30, will head through the center of Newcastle and end in Town Moor.
In the meantime, a paid celebration in Town Moor will present live music, interviews and a projection of the Full Cup final.
What is the path?
The convoy of the fashion show will start from St. James’ Park at 16:30 GMT before heading to the east long Gallowgate.
It will then serve left at Percy Street, will travel beyond Haymarket and on The Great North Road (B1318) before reaching the event site at about 17:00.

Can you bring food and drinks?
Supporters will be able to bring their food and soft drinks to the paid event in Town Moor.
It is a permitted alcohol -free family event and food sellers, drinks and retail sale in Town Moor will only accept contact cards and payments.
The sunbed bags (about A4) will be allowed on site but will be subject to safety checks.

How to get there and where to park
The event will be expected to have a “significant impact” on the transport network of the region, with all public transport to be very busy all day, the club said.
People have been told to expect queues.
