The parents of a nine -year -old girl said they were held in a police station for 11 hours because they complained about the daughter’s elementary school.

Hertfordshire Constabulary added: “Following news of harassment and harmful communications, who are criminal crimes, a man and a woman from Borehamwood, both of 40 years old, were arrested on Wednesday 29 January.

“In relation to the police visit of 20 December, a complaint was presented that was revised by our professional standards department. It was considered that the service provided by the officers was appropriate.”
