Parramatta Eels Recruit Dylan Brown reflects on his journey nrl
“Nobody will get it perfect. I won’t say they are or who anyone is. Everyone has their journey and I’m happy.
“I learned about it. I gained as a man, father and even when I became a father, I was not doing the best job.
“Coming here, Parramatta gave me the opportunity and now I feel a sense of loyalty to return to Parra.
“I had my challenges – people always love to enter – but I no longer have that chip on the shoulder.”
When asked if previously he had had a chip on the shoulder, Walker replies: “I think I did it. I certainly had the walls, surely. I felt that it was the mentality of the victim and I felt like I had to raise the gloves and fight. But in the end, much of myself had been taken away.
“I lost a little in this sense … but I took a good place where I could be proud of my career because I did everything.
“I did everything and I can say that I had a really good career. You can’t be a player winner of the Premiership, play for Australia, play for the new South Wales, play over 230 games if you are a Dickhead.
“Along the way, growing up, there will be moments in which my children will ask me for this and that. It is part of life, it is the journey of it. It is not always the smooth navigation.”

Eels Recruit Dylan Walker
Brown was granted a release by warriors for compassionate land to be closer to his children. The move has given a young team by Eels Eels, as well as a player who can play practically all the positions on the field.
As a Schoolboys star, he played with and against Mitchell Moses and the couple spoke before Walker signed with the club. There were suggestions that eventually could connect again in half, as a potential substitute for Dylan Brown linked to Newcastle. However, the thirty -year -old will leave the bench on Saturday and his role in progress will probably be forward.
As for Walker, it is here to help rather than replace Brown.
“I think Dyl Brown is an exceptional talent and we all know,” he says. “I see the criticisms as a little nonsense, and sparkle the conversation, which I understand, because it is a lot of money, but we all know what it can do.
“I went back and being 230 (games) in depth and expressing what I have understood over the years, I think it can take a lot. While developing, it will create a better relationship …
“I wish him all the best in the future, but at this moment, working together right now, at the moment we are friends of lockers, and he is a beautiful guy.”

After 15 years of Massimo, Walker believes he can bring the leadership and experience that the new coach Jason Ryles has sought.
“I would like to think I have a lot of acquaintance of the game, a football brain,” he said.
“There are different types of leadership. Your communication and language are powerful, as you use it, especially for younger children and even for older children.
“It is emotional intelligence to understand when to say something or when to retire.
“I think some guys can tell the vomiting and say it aloud and somehow dampen it, it does not make it more effective.
“He does not keep the value or weight behind it. It is not quiet, but he is only saying the right things but they don’t explain it excessively.”
