Paul Marsh resigns as CEO of the Flpa for the second period as CEO of the Australian Cricketers Association

Paul Marsh, head of the AFL Players Association, resigned to return to his old work in the cricket as head of the Union of Australian players.
The respective organizations made the announcement on Tuesday morning that Marsh would leave the aflpa at the end of May, ending his 11 years at the helm.

Marsh, who entered football as outsider having been well established in cricket circles, was a key player in multiple collective bargaining agreement.
Its legacies include the joint CBA in 2023 which provided male and female footballers a 37.1 percent share of the sector’s revenue and the agreement concluded in 2017 which saw the introduction of a percentage of revenue in the sector.
