Perth Man Callum Davies has been imprisoned for the Ellenbrook horror, sexual aggression
The court was told to Davies, who had no previous criminal story, initially was looking for a separation house when targeting the family of the family.
During the inside, he noticed the name of a child on one of the doors of the bedroom and entered the room. The child woke up and tried without success to cover his mouth with a ribbon before trying to suffocate his unconscious.
He used the extreme strength during the crime against the girl, who was so afraid that his pants wet.
During the sexual assault, Davies claimed to be disgusted in himself and stopped, putting the girl back in his bed, where he fell asleep.
The following morning, the girl was crying, anguished and trembling and told her parents of a man in her room who wounded her at night.
Her parents were so worried, they brought her for a medical exam in which a doctor confirmed that the girl had been strangled and penetrated.
The CCTV showed Callum Davies who walked on the streets of Ellenbrook on the night of the attack.
A manhunt was launched, with the police who released the CCTV of a man who jumps the lateral fence of the family house. Davies delivered himself shortly after.
Judge David Maclean discovered that Davies treated the victim as an object for his sexual gratification.
He said that Davies’s diagnosis on autistic spectrum disorder and an unspecified psychotic disorder has slightly compromised his ability to make calm and rational choices. However, Maclean discovered that the dominant factor in his crime was his interest landscape.
“You had the control and you understood that it was wrong,” he said.
“You were prepared to use and use significant violence against a seven -year -old boy who slept deeply in his bedroom in his own home.”
Davies was sentenced for two counts to have prevented the breathing or circulation of a person, a sexually penetrating count of a child under the age of 13, a counting of dealing with a child under the age of 13 indecently and a court of theft with aggravated burglary.
Often during his condemnation, Davies sat on the pier and stared without examination.
It has been imprisoned for 18 years. Over the time already served, he will be entitled to conditional freedom in 2037.
A restrictive order of life against him was also issued to protect his victim.
