Dutton has also admitted that he had allowed the Labor Party to misrepresent the coalition policy on public employees while hit fear in women.

Speaking on Adelaide Fiveaa’s radio station, Dutton said that his commitment to ending working from home in the public service led women to be worried, since many have favored flexible work agreements.

“We made a mistake in relation to politics and we allowed the Labor Party to misrepresented it, in some way, you know, to fear women that the liberal party is not in favor of flexible work agreements, which is only nonsense,” he said.

The opposition leader confirmed that there would be no changes to the work agreements of public employees under a coalition government.

“We will have exactly the same agreements in progress, pursuant to the Eba (company bargaining agreements) that the work has underway now, so this is our policy,” he said.

“We admit that we made a mistake, and I think that this morning we were very frank and straightforward saying that we were wrong that political. And we admit the error.”
