While Prime Minister Anthony Albanese ensured the support of 44 of the hundred unanady voters in the room in the debate of the leaders of last night, our experts also kept their verdicts on what happened in the first head to the head of the countryside.
Defining it a draw, the main political correspondent David Crowe described the debate as a “slow burns with a dead heat”.

“Electoral observers – and the voters who want real answers on the big questions that they face this country – will hope more from both men in the second debate of next week,” said Massola.
