Peter V’alandys turns to his future as President of the ARLC and CEO of NSW Racing

“I got involved and I have no one to blame me except me,” he said.
“They are great concerts, but I knew how it would have been before entering. He met the expectation. It’s difficult, it cannot be hidden and I don’t think anyone would have said different. I agreed to do it, so if I need to put the hours and work, I will do it.
“At a certain point, I will not be able to do it. I don’t know when it is. Everyone wants to spend more time with their family, the treasure of my life is the family, my children and my wife.
“Every time you spend with them is gold. They understand and they are very favorable, but sometimes you feel guilty that you don’t spend more time with them, there is no doubt about it.”

V’Insy has added even more to his dish, in the form of a new short film festival that he wants to introduce to Sydney. Despite the further responsibility, his passion for his roles has not decreased.
“Not really, it was the same,” he said. “I spent it a couple of years ago, I crossed Covid with both sports. It was probably the most difficult moment you could have passed.
“I thought it would become easier, but it was not. It is not in my DNA sit, I always go for another opportunity. I just want both sports to do very well. Sit and pass through the movements does not do so; you must constantly try to make it better, brighter and bigger.
“This is what you are there for. I take both roles very seriously. Both roles use many people, they are many passion of people and being a trustee of those situations, I respect it a lot.
“Never for a day I take it for granted.”
