Petko Ganchev: former player is a guest of the club who erroneously announces his death

The Bulgarian team Arda Kardzhali welcomed the Great Petko Ganchev as a special guest for their game against Cherno plus Wednesday, two weeks after keeping a minute of silence for him.

However, before that game was over, Arda published on social media to say that he received “incorrect information on his death” and that the 78 -year -old was very alive.

Ganchev was described as a “legend” and received a shirt with his name before the Arda match against Cherno More, who won 4-0.

“Before the game Petko Ganchev saw the director of sport Ivaylo Petkov, who gave him a Jubilee shirt. He looked at the game in the company of other arda veterans,” said the club.

“Once again we apologize to Petko Ganchev.”

Ganchev said he had to reassure friends and family He was still alive because he was returning home when Arda erroneously made their announcement of his death.

“When I heard the terrible news, I poured a small brandy,” he told Bulgarian Outlet Blitz.

“Being buried in life is quite stressful, really.”
