PM should call the Australian elections on Friday morning with polls to be held at the beginning of May | Australia News

The prime minister, Anthony Albanian, should call the federal elections on Friday for an electoral day in early May, according to sources of work.
The speculation had been released in Canberra that the Albanians could visit the Governor General on Friday or Sunday to capitalize on the momentum from Tuesday’s federal budget and attract attention from Peter Dutton’s budget response on Thursday evening.
Several sources of senior work reported to Guardian Australia on Thursday afternoon who expected the elections to be called on Friday while other sources did not minimize this speculation.
The times would have removed the attention from Dutton’s budget response speech in which the leader of the opposition further detailed his alternative vision for the country.
The Albanian could try to call an election for 3, 10 or 17 May – with the first date the most widely expected. The prime minister said on Thursday morning “he will be called quite imminent”.
“I can confirm that I don’t call him today, but I will call him soon,” he said to Triple M Radio.
The growing expectation came when the Department of Prime Minister and the Cabinet briefly published, therefore eliminated quickly, an ass’ assignment by stating that the government “now operated in accordance with the guardian conventions, pending the outcome of the 2025 federal elections”.
The government enters guardian mode after Parliament has been dissolved, which has not yet happened.
At Guardian Australia it was said that the post was erroneously published and canceled shortly after it went live.
