“I don’t need to talk to them and I’m sure they didn’t really want to talk to me,” Hinkley said.

“In the end, my job is to do everything possible to help Port Adelaide, and this is all I spend my time on.

“Honestly, I said what I said at the end of the game last year.

“The emotions are hot, I was disappointed on my own, I said it and I apologized publicly.

“I think it’s time to go on for me and I have to focus on our performance this week.”

The whites of hawthorn clearly did not forget the way Hinkley targeted the young striker Jack Ginnivan after the semifinal.

The main figure in the so -called hawks scracal package, Ginnivan suggested this week that he had a celebration of the goal of “plane” prepared if one kicked one in front of the faithful port.

Hinkley expects a hawthorn full of emotions to bring heat and urged his side to be lit by the opening rebound.

Crangwood Craig McRae coach is playing a long game on Jordan de Goey’s fitness and keeps fire on Dan Houston’s request, avoids hitting players.

Houston is this round that begins its second suspension in four games for accidents with a collision headquarters and will miss the clash with the 2024 Grand Finalists Sydney and Brisbane while a ban on two games are needed.

“I look at him as an opportunity to improve and an opportunity for him to refresh and an opportunity for others to enter and interpret their roles.”

McRae will not risk Goey after finishing last season in combat to several accident problems and praised the premiership midfielder for his work out of season to build his strength and fitness.

“It is reasonably less, he has just had a problem with the ankle, but we have learned our lesson since last year, so we will not put Jordy our there, where a problem can become two, and then we are chasing a little tail,” said McRae.

“So we decided at the beginning of the week to make that call and ideally do it well for Brisbane.

“He had no signs in this degree (post-match). He had some things in progress before the game, so we decided to take care of him a little. Then he pulled himself on a little sore, so we decided to play a long game.”

McRae hopes that De Goey will return for the collingwood clash with the Lions, but does not hurry it.

“We hope that Brisbane is the goal, but we are not sure,” said McRae.

“This is still the plan and we will bring it to Adelaide and we will bring it to Brisbane with us so that our Fisio and our high performance team is around him.

“I made a good chat with him at the beginning of the week, and it was a little frustrated. It was a step forward and two steps back with him, but it’s the fifth round and we have a lot of time with him.

“He made a working power to get to this phase and is certainly in a different place from the body’s point of view compared to last year.”

The Australian defender Brayden Maynard is attracting the interest of the opposition clubs and McRae has clarified that he loves Maynard and wants him to remain a magpie.

“I don’t read anything and I don’t look long, so I’m not involved in addition to looking Brayden performing really, really well for us,” said McRae.

“It is very loved within our four walls and seems really excited for us as a team and for its shape.

“We are very enthusiastic (to keep it) and I tell him every day how much I love and appreciate him and I will leave the direction of the list to others and leave his contract to him, but I assure myself that he feels appreciated and loved.”
