Premier League, WSL, EFL, Scottish football: UPS, Downs and European qualification


The Premiership is divided in half after 33 games, on the weekend of 12-13 April – with every club that plays others in their “half” for a quarter and last time.

Celtic, Rangers, Hibernian, Aberdeen and Dundee United will all be in the upper half, with St Johnstone, Dundee, KilMarnock and Ross County guaranteed to be in the lower half.

The champions – Celtic or Rangers – will enter the play -off round of the Champions League, with the second classified that enter the second qualifying round. Celtic requires a maximum of six points from the last six games to conquer the title.

The winners of the Scottistica Cup will enter the Europa League to the play-off round. If the winners of the cup end up between the first two, that Place Europa returns to the championship.

The third Premiership team will enter the Europa League in the second qualifying round, with the fourth place team that enters the league of the conference in the second qualifying round.

The lower premiership club will be relegated to the Scottish championship, while the team of the eleventh part will enter a play-off with three sides of the championship.
