Premier targeted the boss nrl

“It would not surprise me if there are conversations in progress. We know that the transmission rights with sport are a very large business,” Cook said.
“Western Australia is the most populous time zone in the world, so your live broadcast opportunities are expanding. Coming to won, the nrl will significantly increase the number of people who follow this sport.”
While the WA government believes that the NRL would never have had to cut the links with the western consortium led by Peter Cummins who initially led discussions, the premier believes he offer the best possibilities for a franchise in the West.

“It makes no sense in the history of the state, or perhaps never, in which you will have a premier who supports the rugby League as I do,” Cook said.
“The opportunity for the nrl to secure a franchising Wa is the one in front of them and should take it.”
In front of the clash of his team with the Cowboys as part of a double garment at the Optus Stadium in Perth, South Sydney Rabbitohs Koloon Koloamaanggi has supported the offer for the North Sydney Bears to transfer West.
“We are the National Rugby League for a reason. I feel like having to grow the game, it would only be able to benefit if we had a team in Perth,” he said.
The nrl was contacted for a comment.
