PSG Win Ligue 1 title with six games to be done, it remains unbeaten

Paris Saint-Germain won their fourth title of Ligue 1 following after defeating the Angers 1-0 on Saturday, continuing their season unbeaten in the championship.
The victory at the Parc des Princes left PSG with an insurmountable advantage to 24 points in second place Monaco, who plays Best later on Saturday, and ensured that they had maintained the title with six remaining championship games.
Luis Enrique’s team has yet to lose in Ligue 1 this season, having won 23 and designed five of their 28 games. If the PSG avoided the defeat in the last six championship games, they would have become the first team in the history of the best French division to go to an entire championship campaign unbeaten.
The PSG championship title is their eleventh in 13 seasons and continues their domain of French football since the Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) purchased the club in 2011.
It is the 13th title of the club in total, putting three of Marseille and Saint-Etienne.

The title is a second in a row for the leader Luis Enrique, who played an important role in remodeling PSG’s team from his appointment in the summer of 2023, bringing a certain number of young players as part of a new strategic vision under the former coach of Spain and the sports director Luis Campos.
Lionel Messi, Neymar and Sergio Ramos started in front of the first season of Luis Enrique and the Talisman Kylian Mbappe moved to Real Madrid last summer. The French part recruited Joao Neves, Desire Doue and Willian Pacho, who are all 23 years old, in the summer of 2024, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia joined in January. Luis Enrique has signed a new contract until 2027 in February.
The PSG remains in the running for the further silverware before the season is outside. They face the Aston Villa in the first stage of their quarter -final of the Champions League on Wednesday and went to the final of the Coupé de France last Tuesday after coming from behind to beat the second level Usl Dunkerque.
