Real Madrid won the “difficult” Liga after the loss of Valencia – Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti admitted that it is “difficult” for Real Madrid to win La Liga after Saturday’s defeat against Valencia.
The defeat leaves Madrid three points behind Barcelona, who plays in his hand later on Saturday at home for Real Betis, at the top of the championship ranking with eight remaining games.
The winner of Hugo Duro’s injuries for Valencia Al Bernabeu obtained the visitor’s first away victory in 12 months and meant that Madrid has lost the opportunity to temporarily go to points with Barcelona.
“It is much more difficult to fight for Liga,” said Ancelotti after the game. “But we have the idea of doing well until the end of the season because we still have options, even if much less after this game.”
Mouurtar Diakhaby opened the markings in the 15th minute for Valencia and while Vinicius Junior drew five mints after the interval, Brazil International lost the opportunity to give Madrid the command to the 13th minute when his penalty was saved by the goalkeeper Valencia Giorgi Mamardashvili.
“It was a difficult season for penalty buyers,” said Ancelotti. “(Jude) Bellingham lost to Valencia, (Kylian) Mbappe against Athletic Club and Liverpool. Vinicius lost against Atletico Madrid, I tried to trust him and lost this.
“Mbappe will be our main penalty takeaker? Let’s see.”
Madrid is the next in action for Arsenal in the first stage of the Champions League quarter -finals on Tuesday before returning to the action of La Liga five days later in Alaves.
