Rocky Flintoff: the Lancashire batter to lose the first part of the season with a back injury


The Lancashire Rocky Flintoff clash will lose the first part of the County Championship season due to a back injury.

County states that the sixteen year old suffered a “lumbar stress reaction”, which is why he was left out of the team for their opening of their division against Middensex by Lord.

He tried uncomfortable in the back during the pre-stage and is resting so that the injury does not worst despite also having rehabilitation.

Flintoff, the son of the former England captain and Andrew’s handyman, became the youngest cricket player of the Lancashire last season.

He played five first -class games and seven games of lists A for Lancashire.

Flintoff, who turns 17, made a century for Lions of England against an Australia XI cricket in Brisbane in January, having become the youngest player to hit a century for England under-19 last summer.

His older brother Corey, 19 years old, signed a two -year -old rookie contract with Kent last month.

Lancashire has seven Division matches of the County Championship two before the pause in the mid -season of May 27th.
