Romania v North Ireland: Ni needs 90 minutes performance – Simone Magill

North Ireland captain Simone Magill says that his team is focused on a “90 -minute performance” in the Nations League match on Friday in Romania.
Tanya Oxtoby’s team is in Bucharest for the first of a double testator with the Romanians in group B1.
After a 2-0 defeat in Poland, Magill scored two late goals while Ni fought beyond the Bosnia-Herzegovina 3-2 at Inver Park in February.
“Coming out of the back of the last game that we played against Bosnia, we know that we did hard work, but we must take the positive aspects,” Magill said in front of the game.
“We showed the character we showed to return and win it. The key is to get out and give a complete 90 -minute performance.
“This is the thing we are really trying to focus on. The game gives us the opportunity to really focus on ourselves and to go out and apply it.”
Oxtoby has appointed a team established by the February matches, with adolescents ABI Sweetlove and Aimee Kerr included in the panel.
Magill says it is “really nice to return” to the field and can’t wait to see the young team of Ni in action in Romania.
“We are a young exciting team and we can’t wait for this double garment,” said the Birmingham City striker.
“It will be a difficult game. We are fully expected that they come out hard, but we are really excited to go on.”
