Rory Mcilroy leads after the third round, he has the opportunity to join the most exclusive golf club
The bizarre US golf player sank a long Putt Birdie on the 18th to end with a round of 69, sending the gallery – and Himsef – in a frenzy.
The last time Mciroy and Dechambeau found themselves in this position in a major, the American triumphed in the US Open of 2024.
It was a McIroy collapse that made him happen, however, adding to the psychological setting of the masters’ surrender.
McIroy has guided by four but he has Bogey three of his last four holes in the US Open, including a brief putt on the 18th that gave Dechambeau the possibility of victory.
Day has shot a 71 round to stay in the running, but will have to shoot down and hope that the best groups falter to have any possibility of winning.
In the meantime, the opportunities of Min Woo Lee have been derailed after Australian copied a penalty penalty and was put on the clock for a slow game of the third round.

The Australian loaded a 77 to five on Saturdays to fall to four for the tournament and out of contest.
A blow was penalized at the 13th hole when the officials believed that the ball moved after turning to the club on the fairway.
Lee copied the penalty on the chin, but was clearly annoyed by slow game suggestions, explaining that the 20 -minute extended gap imposed on the group in front of them exaggerated the problem.
“They (Masters’ programming officials) gave us (Lee and the partner of Harris English) the gap between two of the groups,” he told Aap.

“It only seemed bad, and the boys behind were playing quickly and therefore seemed terrible.”
Lee started well, reproaching a par from the trees and the sand on the first and then passing to two below with a bird on the third.
He was almost Olympinated for Eagle at the fifth approach, but then three was eliminated to take Bogey in a sign of things to come.

“He went well for the first part and we were on the clock and I think it came to me,” he said about his put.
“We had a 20 -minute start gap, which has no nice appearance for us and the referee said we were back a minute as soon as we saw it.
“And the next hole we were timed.
“Playing Augusta is already hard … we played nine holes in two hours, which is apparently very slow.
“It was difficult and it just arrived.”
Lee, winner of the PGA Tour last month, is eager to clean the blackboard for the final round on Sunday.
“I will definitely learn from it and only a good golf (tomorrow); we will go to our process and see what happens,” he said.
