Scotland beat Thailand with 58 races in the qualifications of the women’s World Cup

Scotland bounced from the defeat of Pakistan to earn a victory of 58 shots over Thailand in Lahore and strengthened their hopes to qualify for the women’s world.

Captain Kathryn Bryce led from the front with a 60 58-Palla and was well supported by 57 by Megan McColl while the Scots have made 206.

Rachel Slater therefore had an immediate impact with the ball, removing the first three jokes in a superb spell of three by nine of six over to leave Thailand fighting out of 46 by three and never recovered.

The 63 of Natthakan Chantham was the only resistance when Katherine Fraser and Abtaha Maqsood claimed three WICKETs each, with Thailand launched for 148 in 31.3 over.

Scotland now has two wins from their games while they pursue a goal in two to secure a place in the tournament.
