Senior NSW Media Adviser has accused minors abuse material

A senior media consultant with corrective services of the new South Wales has been accused of possession of material for minors and prohibited drugs.
The new South Wales police accused Matthew John Bachl, 38 years old, Friday after the agents with the command of the Sydney City police area under the jumping force made a search mandate in a chatswood unit, seizing electronic devices and the Gamma Butirolatone (GBL) drug.

Bachl was arrested and brought to the Chatswood Police Station, where he was accused of two counts for possession of the material for minors and a counting of possession of a forbidden drug.
He appeared in the local court of Hornsby, where he was granted the conditional deposit.
Bachl was suspended without salary on Saturday.
A spokesman for the Department of Communities and Justice said that Bachl was put on special leave by his role as a consultant for the media and senior communications with the corrective services of the new South Wales. He was also a former producer with nine (the owner of this masthead).
“Since this question is before the court, it would be inappropriate to comment further,” said the spokesperson.
Bachl is due to the local court of Hornsby on April 9th.
