Sidney Crosby stages a show with hat -trick while the penguins beat the stars: the 10 observations of Yohe

Dallas – While the rest of the hockey world is understandably concentrated on the man who has been his personal rival in the last 20 years, Sidney Crosby has been safely the best hockey player in the world in the last two months.

But I’m sorry, it doesn’t work. Take a look at what Dallas’ first goal has done. Unacceptable.

• Kris Letang’s struggles have continued. A penalty was evaluated on the first round of the game.

• McGroarty was absolutely exceptional in this game. Continue to improve.

I literally heard of three people in the organization of the Penguins within 20 minutes from the game, all praise on McGroarty and how impressive they are they believe they have been.

I agree. It is so intelligent. He is so good defensive. It is exceptional on the scoreboards.

My only criticism of him – and is not a big problem, only a strange strangeness – is that, for a big child, he is certainly knocked on ice frequently. I think he needs to learn to play with a center of lower gravity. But this will arrive in time, and again, I am demanding. This is literally the only aspect of his game that has not been extremely impressive.

He is a better player than one night and one day compared to October. It would seem that the penguins have managed it to absolute perfection. He will play for Wilkes-Barre in the post-stage of Ahl. I suspect that another Ahl game will never play after that point.

• Phil Tomasino really fought for some games. Not well enough. He has to do more to stay in this list next season.

• I realize that Dallas had just won seven consecutive games, but how good are the stars? Oh, they are good. On paper, they are really good. But this afternoon they were completely defeated by the Penguins and I can’t say anything about Dallas’s game that was the least impressive.

The stars are probably getting Colorado in the first round of the playoffs. However good Dallas is, it is a series that the stars could lose.

• The penguins close this trip with a game on Sunday in Chicago. Crosby will turn for a point in 13 consecutive games and figures of Alex Nedeljkovic to start.

Another victory would be good for the penguins, to be sure. It will potentially do even more damage to their pulling position, which is an unfortunate disadvantage of their current impressive game.
