Stanford hired Frank Reich as interim football coach for 2025: source
Stanford is taking on the former Indianapolis Colts coach Colts and Carolina Panthers Frank Reich as head of the provisional coach for the 2025 season, said a source informed about the move on Monday.
Reich, 63, replaces Troy Taylor, who was fired last week After an ESPN report revealed that Taylor had been the subject of third -party investigations twice on the complaints by the employees of the Department of Athletics for hostile behavior.
Reich has never trained in college. However, Stanford General Manager Andrew Luck played Reich with Colts in 2018, his last season in the NFL. Reich trained Indianapolis from 2018 to 2022 and Carolina for 11 games in 2023, filling in a total record of 41-43-1.
