Steph Curry returns while warriors surf over the Pellicans: 5 observations

New Orleans-eco Five comments on road victory 111-95 of the Golden State Warriors on Pelicans on Friday evening.
1. Return of Steph Curry
One of the strangest wounds in Steph Curry’s 16 -year career arrived in an empty Arena in Houston in March 2021. After stumbling back on a Fadeaway sweater, Curry stumbled over the tin stairs on the sidelines and landed strong on the coccyx.
“Hair stacked fracture,” he called curry.
Here is the fall.

Curry reacted similarly to the shock of the pain he tried when he landed strong on the coccyx against the Toronto Raptors last week. He said he immediately reminded him of that injury of 2021 in Houston. But the medical tests and a week of rest have curry believing that it is not as serious.
“Fortunately, I have not broken anything or have had bone damage,” said Curry. “It was mostly only a deep and serious bruise. I will hear it for a while. But I can play. I can’t get worse, as long as I don’t land again.”
Curry wears an extra padding for protection and said it can still feel the pain, but has not had an impact on the way it could operate on Friday evening against the Pellicans. He has lost his last five 3 to obscure an otherwise lively and productive performance. Curry had 23 points, six assists and three thefts. It was more 10 in a 16 -point victory.
“I felt great,” said Curry. “A week of rest is exceptional in one aspect because you are rested. The times, the resistance to overcome the regular minutes was a bit of a challenge.”
Steph Curry said that his recent injury reminded him of that hard fall on the coccyx in Houston in 2021. But this is not so bad. Deep bruise compared to the fracture of the hair attachment in 2021.

2. Collective collapse
Warriors are in a collective shooting collapse. They only did 34 percent of their 3 in the last six games, a lower score in the championship. Their appetizers lost their first 14 Tuesday evening in Miami and their first six against the Pellicans, digging another immediate double -digit hole.
Overall, they finished a terrible 13 out of 55 from Deep Against The Pellicans, beating a short tanking team regardless. But the most difficult tests are in the lead and will need some of their shooters down to get out of this funk.
Moses Moody is 6 out of 32 on 3S in the last six games. Draymond Green is 6 out of 30 in the same period of time. Brandin Podziemski has gone 3 out of 13 in the last two games. Jimmy Butler is 11 out of 52 on 3S (21.2 percent) in his 21 games with the Warriors after going 1 in 6 against the Pellicans.
3. Volume of Quinten Post
The shooter, in addition to Curry, that the warriors rely on most is actually a beginner center. Quinten Post raised nine 3 seconds in 18 minutes against the Pellicani, making three and marking 15 points from the bench.
This continues a constantly productive trait for posts in a limited role. Post has an average of 19.7 minutes in the matches of March 14 and made 44.6 percent of its 5.3 attempts of 3 seconds per game. This is an extreme volume. Post is raising an eye 9.2 for 36 minutes (top 20 in the NBA) in the season and continues to shoot at 43.4 percent.
“I had never turned to this volume,” Post said. “At Boston College, I was much more than a player in the action in the action, facilitating, scoring inside. I didn’t really know that this would be my role-dusting role at 7 feet. Something like that. But that’s where I am very successful. I feel like I was doing a team when I’m not aggressive with my blow.”
Was there any level of discomfort to increase that volume?
“This is where the G League arrived,” Post said. “I had some struggles at the beginning of the season in which I am saying to the coaches:” Yo, I’m not used to shooting nine 3S, 10 3, eight 3. They just told me: “This is a bit about what makes you.” It is a kind of my niche. “
Quinten Post: “I had never shot this volume. At Boston College, I was much more than a player in the action, facilitating, scoring inside.”

4. Speve Kerr hope for Jonathan Kuminga
Jonathan Kuminga had a solid game against the Pellicans: 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists. He lacked both 3, had some defensive failures and absorbed the knee contact that made his knee glam with his left knee after the game. There was positive and negative.
Steve Kerr closed with Kuminga in the first half, rewarding him for a little production downhill, but did not closed with him in the second half, probably penalizing him for a little defensive effort Spottier.
In view of the game, Kerr identified Kuminga as the beneficiary of the game time in the absence of Gary Payton II (partially torn ligament in the left thumb). But this was issued with a challenge for Kuminga to increase his individual defense.
“Jk is the obvious boy,” said Kerr. “Put it on the best offensive player. Full (Court).
The Pellicans did not really have a threatening marker available and Kuminga exploited mostly at the defensive end on Friday evening.

5. Clock clock
The Warriors, the Timberwolves and the Clippers won all on Friday evening, keeping them grouped around the sixth seed area. Above them, the Grizzlies and Lakers in difficulty have the same record and will play Memphis on Saturday. The loser will go down to only 1.5 games on Clippers and Warriors.
For Warriors, the Grizzlies (After shooting the coach head) seem the most vulnerable goal. They face the Lakers and the Celtics the next two games. If both forgive and the Warriors take care of business on Sunday in San Antonio, the Warriors would go to Memphis Tuesday with the possibility of passing the grizzies in the standings (conquering the tiebreaker in the process).
Here’s how it is:
4. Lakers: 44-29
5. Grizzlies: 44-29
6. Clippers: 42-31 (they have a tiebreaker with warriors)
7. Warriors: 42-31
8. Wolves: 42-32
