Tamim Iqbal: the former Bangladesh captain says he was “lucky” after suffering a cardiac arrest

The former Bangladesh Tamim captain Iqbal thanked the doctors for their “extraordinary” care after publishing on social media for the first time since he suffered a cardiac arrest.
The 36 -year -old requested medical care during a national T20 match in Dhaka and is currently recovering in the hospital.

“Some events remind us of reality, as really short. Everyone pray for me and my family. I, Tamim Iqbal, are nothing without your love.”
Tamim represented Bangladesh 391 times in all formats between 2007 and 2023, marking 15,249 races.
