The Australian marine lion puppy is an extinction of the aubergine

Taronga Zoo’s nine -week lion puppy made his first public dive on Wednesday.

The Australian puppy, who has yet to be named, has requested some encouragement from the first mother Tarni, who urged the debutant in the water through a series of court court.

The puppy showed energy explosions after entering the water and spent the afternoon sleeping and in the sun on the ground on earth, that Taronga’s marine supervisor Zoo Brad McKenzie welcomed as a sign of comfort.

“All the puppies are different and this was very confident,” McKenzie said.

“Everything we can do is put it in the best position to build those skills, and the mother has a careful eye on everything – she really wanted it in water, and every time she jumped her mother she wanted to go back there.”

The birth of the puppy January 31st He marked the first of an Australian marine lion in the process of extinction from parents of wild origin in eight years. Tarni, who was orphaned in 2017 in Baird Beach in the Great Australian Bight, was raised with the nineteen year old Charlie, who is now the father of four marine lions.

“He really didn’t know what to do at the beginning, and there was not much for us to guide it, but those instincts took a couple of days to be established,” said McKenzie. “It was only the best mom (since then) – then to mention about her in everything she does and always has an eye on them.”
