The professional championships of Limited Women (WPLL) are currently proposing several changes to the structure of the women’s game with the aim of helping to cultivate it.

Clubs will be asked to discuss and vote on any proposal in the quarterly meetings of the shareholders: a possible change would be the temporary demolition of relegation from the female Super League.

Barber says it is not something that Brighton’s Board has faced, but welcomes the proposals for change.

“I think it is right that the WPLL is looking at every single way to accelerate the growth of the women’s game,” said Barber.

“If this means that we have to give the owners more security to invest faster, we must consider it. I’m not saying that it is right or wrong, but only that we must have every topic on the table.”

Barber said that the WSL clubs “include” that they will last financial losses for a period of time while investing in women’s football, but have added that they must try to make it sustainable.

“The most important thing is that we are investing in the right things to shoot that position in a future not so far because we cannot simply manage women’s football teams forever,” he added.

“This has no sense for anyone and is not healthy for aspiring future athletes who want to enter an environment, be paid correctly and care.

“We have to create a sustainable business for the future”.

When asked if he would have welcomed the financial regulations of the fair play in the WSL, Barber added: “I think it is a balance of non -binding investments but at the same time not accelerating losses. It is so difficult.

“The key thing is to learn as many lessons as possible from the men’s match so as not to drive the football teams in more precautions positions.

“I would expect in the New bill on governancethat over time there will be more parameters on shopping (in the WSL). “
