The chief Netball supports the culture of the game after the probe erases the birds of the “toxic” ambient environment

The CEO of Netball Australia Stacey West supported the culture of sport after being in an independent investigation that has eliminated the Super Netball Firebirds to promote a “toxic environment”.
The investigation was started in August 2024 after a complaint by the former Firebirds Remi Kamo player and was greeted by West as the first of its kind in Super Netball.
In passing on its results last week, the investigation noted that “based on the evidence considered, the accusations were not proven in relation to specific violations of these codes and policies”.
A discontent kamo then went on social media to accuse the sport of having a “silent culture”.
“If you have opinions, diversity or courage, then you are another like” Planagrane ” – while the people who benefit from silence remain in their positions of power,” wrote Kamo. “Too bad for you Netball Australia to be complicated despite verbally confirmed me the environment was” toxic “.”
West said that the investigations were closed but insisted on the fact that the game “listened and learned” while preparing for the ninth season of Super Netball, which begins on April 5.

“An independent investigation created the opportunity for confidentiality. He created the opportunity to speak and created the first of our kind in terms of work through this level of detail,” said West.
“So I really want to say that it is both complex, and it is also sincere, and we also want to demonstrate that we continue to listen, we continue to learn and continue to evolve both our partnerships with those within our sport but also those external to support a safe environment.”
