The Democratic House indicates that it would vote to protect Trump rates
Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, indicated that he would vote to protect President Trump tariff plan If the legislation that killed the economic measure was brought to the floor of the chamber.

Golden is one of the few, if not the only, democratic of the Chamber in favor of the tariff proposal. “When they seek under each pillow of the sofa, the party’s reappearance way of reappearing, going out so strongly,” said Golden as he reproached democratic companions for opting for the proposal.
