The Grand Runner National Famous D’At Allen died from “Post-Gara Infection”, the post-mortem seats

The horse developed pleuropnemonite – a bacterial respiratory infection – after the race.
The infection caused the beginning of the sepsis, which is “probable that it was a key factor” in the cause of death.
The blood tests made on the day of the race indicated that the infection had not been present in the Raceday horse.
The British horse authority (Bha) said that the post mortem exam was only “a part” of their process of revision of any fatality and that the death of Famous D’At Allen would have been analyzed in detail.
Famous D’At Allen was a 125-1 shot at National, who was won by Fantino Patrick Mullins on Nick Rockett.
Tuesday, it was also announced that Mullins was given a ban of eight days after his tour has been referred to the whip revision committee.
The 35 -year -old amateur jockey violated the rules of the whisk during the race, using its whip eight times after the final fence when the limit in jumping races is seven.
It will be suspended for eight separated days including 23 and 25 April.
The death of Famous D’At Allen aroused criticism from the groups for animal rights, with the animal that said that the sport of horses’ races was to be blamed for the death of the horse.
Animal Aid said that it was “shameful” to allow a horse of the age of Allen to be ridden in the “most exhausting breed of the country”.
The Bha said that since 2000 there were 24 years that competed in the Grand National, unprecedented fatal accidents.
