A man was accused of murder after a 16 -year -old boy was stabbed around Huddersfield.
The agents were called to Ramsden Street in the city center at 2.45 pm on Thursday, said West Yorkshire police. The teenager received only one neck injury and died in the hospital.
Alfie Franco, 20 years old, from Kirkburton, was accused of murder and possession of a knife in a public place, said the strength. Saturday should appear at the Leeds magistrates court.
A 22 -year -old man and a 20 -year -old woman arrested on charges of assisting a transgressor were released on a deposit. The police said the accident was not “linked to the band”.
A police spokesman said: “Following the murder of a 16 -year -old boy in Huddersfield (Thursday), we are aware of the disinformation circulating on social media, in particular X, regarding the circumstances of the accident and ethnic groups of the people involved.
“We are limited in what we can say legally, but what we can notify is that the accident is not linked to the band or connected to any wider controversy among the groups.”
Questions about the accident are underway.
Alison Lowe, deputy mayor of West Yorkshire for police activities and crime, said that the adolescent death was “an absolute tragedy”.
He added: “Even if we have made several young people die throughout the crime of West Yorkshire in the last five years, it is still a very rare event”.
