“When I started going to leave and going to pubs saying:” I have this hobby “, my friends and family all enclosed,” said, as SWS reported.
Percival admits that his wife, Susan, 69, thought he was “crazy” at the beginning – but now his family members firmly support his unusual hobby.
“It all started with (football). I am a fan of the away days and I did 84 championship fields with the county of Notts.”
He added that when in Brighton, “one of my colleagues supporting the landlord asked:” Do you have a beer mat? “”

“After the first 15 times I understood (the beer trays) were decorated objects – and from there it was spiral,” he said.

A copper tray in its collection dates back to 1870 around 1870.
Its oldest tray is a piece of copper of a black countryside brewery called Fred Cutler dating back to 1870 around 1870.
His favorite is an oval tray of Warwicks & Richardsons Brewery in Nottinghamshire because he prefers “distinctive steel trays, heavier and black hangers”.
“It has been since 1904. He has a photo of the brewery and label of their beers.”

“I also got the largest collection of British memorabilia by a beer producer called Thomas Salt and Co., which was detected in 1927,” he said.
His “Santo Grail”, said Percival, is to acquire a tray with the Thomas Salt Cross logo, which is the fourth oldest brand in the world.
