The Scottish premiership could go to 10, 14 or 16 teams

The Scottish premiership may have changed in a division 10, 14 or 16 teams in an attempt to help reduce the congestion of the appliances.
The interviews took place at senior levels on the alteration of the structure of the flight at the top, in which 12 clubs were divided into a upper and lower part of six after 33 strokes of games.
Trentotto Round of games are completely played and the format is underway by the 2000-01 season. The maintenance of that model is also an option.
One of the main problems with any reconstruction would be the way in which the financial distribution model would work.
Last year the SPFL announced a record turnover of £ 44 million with over 33 million pounds assigned to clubs.
The top clubs received more than £ 27.5 million of that total with the rest that was divided between the championship and the alloys 1 and 2.
In addition to this income, the Premiership clubs that are not present in the group or European football championship phases currently share “solidarity payments” by UEFA, which are distributed by the Scottish FA.
Last season these payments were higher than £ 600,000 with the total of the current season which should be about £ 900,000.
