Orania seeks us recognition

First on Fox: US and South African groups began to act to “improve” the life of Afrikaner, descendants of white settlers, mostly Dutch, after the president Donald Trump He said they could settle in the United States as refugees.
On Friday, President Trump lashed again against the South African government for his treatment of farmers, many, but not all of them, are Afrikaner, who land on his social media platform of truth through X, “they are taking the land of white farmers and then killing them and their families”.
The State Department told Fox News Digital of new moves he is doing. At the same time, the Afrikaner Orania movement, an Afrikaner settlement, declared its desire to be treated by the United States as a state within a state in South Africa.
This has led to discussions often lit on the Afrikaner and, so far, no details on the side of the United States. But now there is a real movement, not only to speak, which takes place.
“The American Embassy in Pretoria (South Africa) is examining the investigations by people who have expressed interest in the embassy in the resetting of refugees in the United States and has started to contact some people to plan and conduct information interviews,” said the State Department of Fox News Digital.
According to the South African non -governmental chamber of commerce in the United States, starting last month, 67,042 South Africans expressed interest in the offer of refugees, but the State Department told Fox News Digital: “We have nothing to share on a number of participants at this stage of the process”.
There was also a burst of flights through the Atlantic in Washington by groups who tried to get the attention of the white one and, ultimately, the attention of the president.
The first was the political group Afriforum, widely attributed to the warning of President Trump of the need for “humanitarian relief” for Afrikanes.
Among the other organizations that made the journey to DC there was the defense group of the independence of the boss, which states that Cape Town and some of the surrounding areas should become a state separated from the rest of South Africa.
But perhaps the journey of the Orania movement to Washington and his request for help in the United States, is of more interest.
“Help us here”, is the CEO of Slogan Orania, Joost Stryom, told Washington’s professionals.

Orania is a small but rapidly growing settlement of 3,000 Afrikaner in the Karoo region in South Africa. Stryom told Fox News Digital those settlers those colonists do not want to become refugees in the United States, but they are looking for Washington’s support to become truly autonomous in Africa “not necessarily with the dollars of US taxes, but with the recognition with our search for a national house for Afrikaner.
“Orania’s goal is to grow and protect the security and freedom of Afrikaner. If we can make decisions for ourselves, we can deal with our security and prosperity. If we are free, we are safe.
“We are an African people, we belong here. We have no other house. On a personal note, my great -grandfather arrived in Africa in 1676, 100 years before the declaration of independence of the United States.”
Founded in 1988, Orania states that it is completely white, the Afrikaner population is growing on average by 10-12% per year, with a growth of commercial projects of 26%. It has its systems for the purification of water and solar energy. In one of the driest parts of South Africa, Orania farmers are successfully developing corn, wheat, nut walks, almonds and cattle.
Orania has built its Afrikaans language schools and a college and planned to open its university.

The Orania delegation went to Washington, said Stryom, due to the fact that President Donald Trump gave us recognition as people, the Afrikaner. (IT) has made it very important for us to accelerate our US connection tour already planned for the connection with Afrikaner and American supporters of the idea of Orania in the United States
“We had meetings with officials by invitation and we discussed in depth substantial issues, which, for reasons of an ongoing conversation and our honor towards new contacts, will only publicly specify later.”
The South African government attacked those who knocked on the gates of Washington.
“These groups do not represent most of the South Africans, whether it is the orania or infriforum movement or this defense of the independence of the head,” the journalists said at the spokesperson for the Vincent Magwenya presidency.
THE Department of State The spokesperson clarified the point of view of the administration in Fox News Digital this week.
“Through his executive order, the President took measures to make the government of South Africa responsible for the violation of Afrikaner rights and has commissioned the administration to give priority to humanitarian relief for the Afrikaner who are victims of unjust racial discrimination,” said the spokesperson.

Hanli Pieters, who works at Bo-Karoo Opeking, Orania’s College, is proud to be an Afrikaner and told Fox News Digital who wants to stay in Orania.
“I chose to live in Orania because it offers what so few places can – a safe and targeted future for Afrikaner. Here, I can live, pray without fear and speak Afrikaans not as a formality, but as the heartbeat of my daily life. We take our hand as a community to build, work and grow. Orania is the place where the Afrikane identity becomes a binding.”
Fox News Digital contacted the South African government for a comment, but had not received a response at the time of publication.
