This NL man took a selfie with a beach whale and brought his photography to a completely new level
It is difficult to describe the size of a whale when washing on the ground. That’s why Brendon Gould went to the beach with his drone A River of Ponds, NL, in the northern peninsula.
In a video on social media that has accumulated over 10,000 views, Gould is on the rocks next to a defrosting and decomposition of whales.
The sperm whales can weigh between 15 and 50 tons and measure between 11 and 18 meters.
“I’m a high Fellor,” said Gould CBC News. “It’s quite big alongside me.”

How big is a sperm whale? When one washed on the beach near the river of the Stagni, the photographer Brendon Gould thought about a way to capture the immensity of the creature in an image: lying next to it and sending a drone.
The whale seemed to be frozen when Gould saw her for the first time in person, so she doesn’t know how long it has been there.
Fortunately for Gould, there wasn’t much smell when he was on the ground, piloting his drone above the beach.
It is known that the sperm whales swim in the oceans of the world and live in deep waters. They are not considered a population at risk in Canada, but the Oceanic and atmospheric national administration of the United States lists it as an extinction species.
