Tiger Woods congratulates Rory Mcilroy for Masters Win

Rory Mcilroy joined some immortals of golf after winning THE Masters Sunday.
Mcilroy became the sixth player to win a career Grand Slam, who is silent the trophy in all four main tournaments: the teachers, The PGA championshipUS Open and Open Championship.
This at the Ugusta National Golf Club was the most elusive for Mcilroy, who had not even won a larger from Open in 2014.

After beating Justin Rose in a playoff hole on Sunday, one of those five previous golfers winners of the Grand Slam shared his congratulations for the Irish Northern Irish, since he knows all too well how much he meant for him.
“Welcome to the club”, Tiger Woods He wrote on X. “Complete the Grand Slam in Augusta is something special. Your determination during this round, and this whole trip has shown, and now you are part of the story. Proud of you!”
Woods was lost in Augusta this week, since he suffered an injury to Achille last month who according to what reported has not yet able to walk correctly. While it was known that his Golf season is probably on the shelf, some wondered if he would be present at the champions dinner on Tuesday evening.
Unfortunately, Woods was not among those who enjoyed the prepared menu of Scottie Scheffler.

Woods and Mcilroy have had a great golf relationship over the years, being both Nike athletes and being two of the best of the game since the latter became a professional.
Mcilroy observed during his post-ring interview with the journalists Woods was among those of the Grand Slam Club which every year reminded him of his belief that the green jacket would soon be on the back.
Woods, Gene Sarazen, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus were the only five golfers to complete the Grand Slam until Mcilroy did it on Sunday.
It was made quite full of drama, with Mcilroy who crossed numerous ups and downs during his last round only to lose part of part on his 72nd tournament hole, which forced a playoff with roses.

But Mcilroy dug deep, hitting the necessary push and approaching 18 once again to prepare with a short bird birds for victory.
A weight was raised by the shoulders and the story followed with the green jacket that the 2024 Masters Scottie Scheffler champion placed on the return of Mcilroy to the Butler cabin after the round of his life.
