Time in Catalunya 2025: Ethan Vernon emits Matthew Brennan in British One-Two on stage two

Great Britain Ethan Vernon has eliminated compatriot Matthew Brennan to win the second phase of the vault in Catalunya for Israel -Premier Tech.
The 24 -year -old crossed the half -wheel line in front of Brennan after a sprint finish strictly contested in Figueres.
Brennan, 19, remains at the top of the general classification after His extraordinary victory on the first stadium.
The 177.3 km phase of Tuesday, which began in Banyles, also built towards a dramatic milestone and Kaden Groves of Alpecin-Deceuninck and Axel Laurance by Ineos Grenadiers opened the road with 150 m to go.
But Vernon has timed his sprint perfectly to overcome them and put it in line, right in front of Brennan of Visma-lease a bike.
The Brit teenage holds a total advantage of six seconds compared to the groves in second place before the first mountain stage of the vault – a round of 218.6 km from Viladecans to La Molina – Wednesday.
The seven -phase race ends in Barcelona on Sunday.
