Time in Catalunya: Matthew Brennan wins the phase five of Great Britain
The British teenager Matthew Brennan has won phase five of the vault in Catalunya, so far his second triumph of the race.
Driving for Vistma-Lilgi by bike, 19 years old Brennan produced a splendid Sprint Finish on the first day For his first winnings of the world tour and the fifth day, he passed the Netherlands and the Alpecin-Deceuninck Tibor Del Grosso pilot for another close victory in three hours, 28 minutes and 14 seconds.

“We worked all day and we knew it would be a bit frenetic to get to the final stretch,” said Brennan.
“I think the whole team was there (in the end) and we went out in a good position. I am so happy to be able to end up for them.”
Spain Juan Ayoso, who runs for the team of the United Arab Emirates Emirates XRG, maintains his place at the top of the general classification, but the Rogic of Red Bull-Collo-Hansgrohe has reduced the gap to each other only one second.
The couple is going on with another Spanish, Enric Mas, 21 seconds behind third place.
The six phase, the penultimate day of the race, moves to the mountains for a stretch of 159 km.
