Travelers camp on 42 Scottish islands to capture unique images of wildlife and scenarios
A writer and photographer has spent the last 18 months capturing incredible images of the Scottish islands.
Alastair Jackson documented his adventures while traveling in 42 remote offices, according to SWORS reported.
Jackson’s photographs were inspired by the Scottish time, light, clouds and landscapes along the western coast.

With nothing more than a camera, a tent and walking boots, Jackson spent a minimum of a night camping in each of the 42 remote destinations.

“My mother had said she didn’t want to travel On any other island, And he made me think when you grow up in a place, I don’t really travel, “Jackson said to SWS.
“So, I wanted to go to explore.”
The traveler said he had found each of the “a charming adventure” locations while he passed from the island of Bar to the island of Gigha and much more.
Jackson has always considered herself “young in the heart” and has been a passionate photographer for over 15 years, reported SWNS.

He told SWNs that “is inspired by the islands and their culture after growing on the island of Skye”, which is the largest of the main islands of the internal hebrides.
Along his journey, Jackson’s goal was to fully experience the different styles, scenarios and people’s lifestyles live in every destination.
“On this trip, I wanted to highlight” Island Life “: people who do different things, things that happen on the island,” said Jackson.

“It is very important: people sometimes forget that there are people who live (in) these places.”

Some of Jackson’s favorite places were his time on the island of Barra and Eigg, one of the small islands in Scottish inner hebridehe said.

“I would wake up early in the morning to take the dawn and then the sunsets in the evening, and I was lucky with the time I had – surprisingly rained only one or two days,” Jackson detailed.
Jackson said he was also amazed wildlife He saw in front and behind the camera – from corncrake birds to crucible sharks.

“I also met a man who spends a whole week in Mull just to camp and take photographs of the launte who live there,” he added.
“I met some incredible people in my travels.”

Jackson has not yet completed his travels, And he will continue to write and photograph his trip to Orkney in the autumn, SWNS reported.

“There are other adventures coming – and my wife gets rid of me for a week, so everything is fine,” he joked.
