While the representative Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., One of the best allies of the Trump congress, introduced a resolution a few days after the inauguration of Trump in January to allow a three-terms in charge to a president, but not more than two periods of four consecutive years.
The amendment would have read: “No person must be elected to the president of the President more than three times, nor be elected to any additional term after being elected to two consecutive terms, and no person who held the position of president, or has acted as president, for more than two years of mandate to which another president was elected.
