In the culmination of countless speeches, tweets and country promises, the president of the United States Donald Trump has finally revealed the large rates on the assets imported into the country – by almost all the countries with which he does business.
It nicknamed him “day of liberation”, defining him the beginning of a new era of economic independence for the United States, saying that he will report jobs and industry in the country. But some economists say that the rates will throw international trade in chaos, with unpredictable chain effects, and perhaps also cause a world recession.
