Jacinta Collins, executive director of the National Catholic Education Commission, said that Catholic schools “have a 200 -year history that serves alongside the government sector and is aimed at some of the most disadvantaged areas in Australia”.

The principal of the private school for all the internal-west Plc Sydney, Paul Burgis Girls said that it was essential that the new South Wales had a strong public education model.
“Having high -quality independent schools and Catholics also benefits from all of us. Independent schools often approach education from a completely different perspective and therefore offer our state a wide range of education models,” he said.
“Catholic and independent schools serve the entire community range in the new South Wales. Parents also appreciate to be able to find a school to meet their values and needs of their children.”
