Tyler Dibling’s rise: because Southampton’s sought -after wing is “robotic and predictable robotic antidote”

“Tyler has uniqueness. In a world and industry that is becoming more marketed, sanitized, robotic, structured and predictable, Tyler’s greatest strength is the opposite of all this.”
This is rather the sale for Southampton’s 19 -year -old midfield Star, Tyler Dibling, above all since his basic career numbers of the Premier League amount to 25 appearances, 1540 minutes played, two goals and zero assists.
But that bright description of a senior source of the club, speaking anonymously of the BBC Sport, suggests an interesting emerging talent a series of better clubs and because there are some not proven relationships of a price of £ 100 million in the head.
With the saints who face an immediate relegation to the championship, the future of Dibling will probably be one of the most interesting sagas of summer, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Bayern Munich which, according to reports, chases all his signature.
Another source close to the club suggested to Southampton which refused the previously not reported offers of £ 35 million from Tottenham and £ 30 million from RB Leipzig in January, with the club that enhances divinged to £ 55 million at the beginning of the winter window.
Southampton did not comment on those voices, but what is known is that Dibling is one of the most paid players in Southampton’s team and has an agreement that expires in 2027, after Southampton has triggered a 12 -month extension option.
He signed his latest contract in December 2023, when he had only played five minutes of Senior football.
England Under 21 International has so far resisted the offers of the club of a new agreement in what has been a revolutionary season for him, despite a miserable campaign that could still see Southampton relegated with the total of the lowest points of the Premier League.
He digs a little more deeply in the Dibling statistics and his transport distance of the ball per game (207.3 m), his total dribbles attempted (83) and his total completed dribbles (40) put him among the top 20 players of the Premier League.
Its dribbling completed by game (2.34) and fouls won per game (2.57) place it in the top 10.
“He is the most fearless player I have ever worked with,” said the former head of Saints Under 21 Adam Asghar to BBC Sport.
“He is absolutely unique for anything he has ever seen before. He has a rough physicality, a rhythm and a power, he is an incredible ball carrier and always has an impact on games.
“In a generation of calcium in which they are a lot of limited touches and quickly move the ball can move it as quickly by bringing the ball rather than passing it and this is what makes it such a special talent.
“Each game (with the under 21) would always have four or five moments that almost removed your breath.
“He is really sure of his ability. He would not have been frightened by the opponent or the situation, he played with fearlessness.”
