Ulster SFC: Tyrone to the semifinal after the victory on Cavan

Tyrone arrived at an Ulster semifinal with the samples of all Ireland Armagh after beating Cavan from 1-24 to 0-20 in the clash of the first round of Sunday in Omagh.

The red hands have undergone a double pre-game when Darragh Canavan and Mattie Donnelly were collected by the team for injury.

However, they crushed the hopes of Cavan soon soon with a strong breeze behind them and led from 0-14 to 0-4 in half time.

Tyrone was clinical in the first half with Cavan fighting to win his kicks or create enough score opportunities.

Faced with a participation of 6,791 Tyrone had 13 different markers, but sometimes they were not convincing sometimes, since the efficiency of Cavan’s score improved and visitors nailed five two pointers after the break.

Cavan passed Tyrone from 0-10 to 0-3 in a period of ten minutes in the middle of the second half, but a goal by Conn Kilpatrick after 62 minutes resolved issues, guaranteeing Tyrone to hire the Archi Rivali Armagh in two weeks.
