Victorian clubs prepare multimilionary offers for Port Adelaide Power Star Zak Butters

“I imagine that at that point it will be a limited free agent, so we still have the control of that situation. But there is no doubt that Zak will be paid,” said the head of football Chris Davies to sen when he was asked recently.
“If there are clubs that are providing inflationary pressures to others, this becomes well known enough quite quickly. For desperate teams to land the players, sometimes if they do not, it is not excessively useful because it creates a certain inflationary pressure through the competition that we have all faced.”
Hawthorn, who has the choice of Carlton’s first round in the next draft, did not make a secret that want to add to their midfield depth. Hawks also have a war case, given how much their game list is and how many players perform above their contract.
Richmond and they both have two choices in the first round this year. The tigers have their own and North Melbourne, while the bombers have their and that of Melbourne. It is conceivable that they could both end up with two best choices.

Choice n. 1 of Richmond from the draft last year, the emerging star Sam Lalor, also comes from Bacco Marsh.
“We have no restriction in keeping the players we want to keep,” added Davies in his radio interview.
“Our salary limit has been well managed over time. Certainly we have the money if we want to keep players who are out of contract.

“Kane Farrell is out of contract at this end of the year, Miles Bergman … There are some players who have a more immediate need to be re-worked.
“Zak will surely be a player that we would like to maintain when the moment arrives. With where the dollars go to the FL, all those guys will be paid and will play fair because everyone has behaved quite well.”
